OUR
St. Catherine of Siena Preschool & Mother’s Day Out was established in 1984 to provide a ministry to the people of our community. We feel that the early education of our children is significantly important and we are proud to offer this training within the framework of our spiritual tradition. We believe every person needs a relationship with God and with His Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ. St. Catherine of Siena Preschool and Mother’s Day Out provides an atmosphere which will encourage the development of the whole child; academically, socially and spiritually.
A diverse, friendly, relaxed atmosphere, without regimentation, is the basis of the school’s daily program. Various manipulatives, as well as quiet-learning games and “workjobs”, are available at all times. Art activities which encourage self-expression and creativity, and teacher-planned projects with a strong emphasis in the fields of language arts, science, and math, are a prominent part of the child’s day. Age-appropriate activities are planned with attention to the different needs, interests and developmental levels of each child. In addition, Music and Creative Movement classes are also part of our curriculum along with Spanish, which is offered to our 4-Year Preschool & PreK classes. Christian values are emphasized in all activities.
St. Catherine of Siena Preschool is a state-licensed facility. All of our teachers are required to meet the state’s standards for in-service hours and CPR & First-Aid certification. In addition, all of our Preschool teachers are experienced, degreed teachers with backgrounds in early-childhood and elementary education.

guidelines of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
