Children and Youth

R.C.I.A. - CHILDREN and YOUTH

This Ministry is the process by which a child or youth becomes Catholic. This may include being baptized for the first time or joining the Catholic Church as a baptized person from another Christian faith. It also includes those youth (6th-12th grades) who were baptized Catholic as babies but have not had consistent religious education or Mass attendance, and need to celebrate First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation. The process involves two school years of classes, except most school holidays. However, there are classes every other week in the summer between Year 1 and Year 2. Classes are Wednesday nights from 7-8:30 pm. An adult from the family is required to attend class each week with their child. Contact Lauren Triplett at or 972-492-3237 ext. 123 with any questions and visit the Children's Formation page for a registration form and parent handbook.

Volunteers are always needed and there are many ways to serve to fit your gifts and your schedule! Please contact for more information.
