The St. Vincent de Paul society of St. Catherine's is part of the international Catholic organization of volunteer lay men and women who seek, in a spirit of justice and charity and by a person-to-person involvement, to help those who are suffering.
The Society's mission is to provide temporary emergency assistance mainly to residents in our parish boundaries, but can go beyond our boundaries for special needs or twinning opportunities with other parishes in need.
We are a Catholic organization, but we are NOT funded solely by the Catholic Church.
We seek, through justice and charity, to make a difference in the world and to witness to the power of the Christian faith. Vincentians, therefore, strive to foster, to develop, and to favor all means by which the fundamental virtues of faith and charity can be alive within us and around us.
